News:
Wednesday January 7: The new snow received Monday night helped to begin a new base layer. With luck we will get more snow from the next storm cycle expected to arrive later this evening. Yesterday your groomers were out in force rolling and packing the 4-7 inches of new snow. There is some skiing available at the Aspen Golf Course Loop 10 and Marolt Loop 40 but the best skiing is on High School Loop 30 with thin and variable conditions to be expected. Snowpack is too thin to set classic track. We will continue to roll and pack snow today, prepping for the next storm. All other trails are still closed for skiing. Check Nordic Pulse for grooming updates. The Nordic Center at the Aspen Golf Course has suspended ski rentals until we receive more snow and has had to make the decision to cancel this season's Nordic Extravaganza scheduled for this Sunday but they are open from 9-5 each day and we encourage you to stop by and check out the latest gear. Have a great day skiing.
