Saturday January 3: We were able to groom the High School Loop 30 yesterday with the wet snow we received, stabilizing conditions, with the vast majority of the trail being skiable. The snow pack is thin and variable with melt out to be expected at the lower underpass. All other trails are closed for skiing due to no snow. Check Nordic Pulse for grooming updates. Tomorrow is the second race in the Ute Cup Nordic Series. The race has been modified and moved from Snowmass to the High School Loop 30. Registration information is available on the AspenNordic.com Events tab. The Nordic Center at the Aspen Golf Course has suspended ski rentals until we receive more snow but they are open from 9-5 each day and we encourage you to stop by and check out the latest gear.
