Friday January 2: We received about 1/2 inch of new snow overnight but have had to stop grooming on all trails due to the diminishing snowpack. We need at least a four inch snowfall to begin grooming again. There is still skiing on the High School Loop 30 where the vast majority of the trail is skiable with some melt out. All other trails are closed for skiing due to no snow. Check Nordic Pulse for any grooming updates. The Nordic Center at the Aspen Golf Course has suspended ski rentals until we receive more snow but they are open from 9-5 each day and we encourage you to stop by and check out the latest gear.
