Monday December 22: Wow it was hot yesterday! With the limited snowfall thus far and the current heat wave, we are down to the bare minimum of skiable snow for the Aspen Golf Course Loop 10 and High School Trails Loop 30. Due to the higher temps over night, we are no longer seeing the base firm up and our grooming is now helping the thinning snow pack melt faster. We will see what the trails do throughout today but will not be grooming and can no longer keep up with shoveling hot spots. All other trails are not advisable for skiing. Please use caution when skiing and expect thin, warm snow, with melt out spots nearly everywhere. Please do a snow dance, where sunscreen, and have a wonderful start to the holiday week. We will keep updating the Nordic Pulse App if anything changes. The Nordic Center is open from 9-5. Have a great day skiing!
