Sunday December 14: No new snow overnight with warm temps again. Today is the first race of the Ute Cup Nordic Series, go to the Events tab for more information. Yesterday we continued shoveling in hot spots on Aspen Golf Loop 10 - make sure and say THANK YOU to your groomers as they have been working hard to keep the trail skiable. Today we will continue patching hot spots on Loop 10 and then groom Moore Loop 20 after the snow softens up this afternoon. Best skiing is available on High School Loop 30 and Aspen Golf Loop 10 in the mid morning to about 1PM. Unfortunately our snowpack is still too thin to set classic track and we will continue to reduce grooming frequency to minimize our impact on the snowpack with the continued warm dry weather and concentrate our efforts primarily on Loop 10 and Loop 30. Check the Nordic Pulse App for updated grooming info and please use caution as thin and variable conditions should be expected. The Nordic Center is open from 9-5. Have a great day skiing!
