Ski Centers

The Aspen/Snowmass Nordic Trail System is fortunate to have on its trails two very good cross-country centers that provide instruction, rentals, snacks, retail, ski repair/waxing, wax advice, daily grooming reports and advice on choosing just the right trail for your skill level. So stop by one of the two following centers if you are seeking assistance or just want to sit down and chat with people who really know cross-country skiing.

Aspen Cross-Country Center and the Ute Mountaineer

There is a third cross-country center located up the beautiful Castle Creek Valley on the Ashcroft Trail System. This Center offers instruction, rentals, snacks, ski repair/waxing, wax advice, daily grooming reports of the Ashcroft Trail System and advice on choosing just the trail for your skill level. There is a fee charged for this system and is worth every penny because of the friendly, knowledgeable staff, entertaining trails, incredible views and the Pine Creek Cookhouse which is a ski-in/ski-out restaurant.
