Thursday January 29: Yesterday we groomed Snowmass Golf Loop 60. Today we will pack and roll Rio Grande Trail from Stein Park to Emma, including Roaring Fork Club and Grange Ranch. We now have classic tracks on the High School Loop 30, Moore Loop 20, Marolt Loop 40, Owl Creek Trail and Teaching Loop 00. It is still too thin for classic tracks on the Aspen Golf Course but there is excellent skate skiing to be had. Use caution as the trails begin to melt out again with warm and sunny days, and expect thin and variable conditions on all trails. Check Nordic Pulse for grooming updates.
