Tuesday Jan 21: COLD! -20F grooming last night but temps should rebound today. Yesterday we groomed upper Rio Grande Trail from Stein Park to Aspen PO and Bernese Blvd. Last night we groomed Middle Rio Grande Trail from Lazy Glen to Stein Park, Snowmass Golf Loop 60, Lab Lane, Aspen Golf main Loop 10 and Teaching Loop 00. Today we will groom Maroon Creek Loop 50 and an early morning groom on Oregon Trail at Buttermilk. Tomorrow is the race under the lights, race #4 in the Ute Cup Nordic Series at the Aspen Cross Country Center and the Owl Creek Chase, race #5 in the series takes place on Sunday the 26th from Snowmass to Aspen.
